Our online boiler fixed price tool allows homeowners to purchase a new combination boiler with the understanding that some conditions must be met for installation.

The following are the terms and conditions which must be met for the installation to take place:

Our online prices are for combination boilers only.

The boiler must be a straight swap with the original combination boiler.

The gas pipe must be of the correct diameter. If, after completion, it is found that the gas pipe needs to be upgraded, an additional charge will apply to the online price.

The flue must be correctly located and permitted for the new boiler; if we can not carry out the installation because of this, a call-out fee will still apply.

If a vertical flue is required, then the homeowner must pay for erecting suitable and safe scaffolding for the work to proceed, in addition to the price of the boiler.

If the connected system is a one-pipe system or any other unsuitable system, we cannot carry on with the work, and a quote will be supplied, which is additional to the online boiler price.

The condensate pipe to the old boiler must be suitable for the new boiler; if it is not, this incurs an additional fee to the online price.

We have the right to terminate the job at any time.

How long will it take to install my new boiler?

It typically takes one day to swap a condensing boiler like for like or around two days if converting from a standard stored hot water system to a combi. However, our Sheffield team are experienced in all types of replacements and will work quickly and efficiently to get your home back up and running as soon as possible.

What are the most common types of boilers?

There are two types of heating systems: a combi and a stored hot water system. You don't have to store any hot water because the water is heated as needed with a combination boiler. With a stored hot water system, you must first keep water in a tank and then utilise it.

Can I get a grant to help with the cost of a new boiler?

Families facing the expense of replacing their old boiler may be eligible for grants to assist with the cost and even pay nothing. In addition, through government programs or energy suppliers, families on specific benefit types, private properties and tenants living in a rented council house might get assistance. It's worth checking with your present energy supplier for more information to see if you qualify for any subsidies.

How often should I service my boiler?

It's critical to have your gas appliance serviced at least once a year for safety reasons and to ensure that any warranties associated with your new boiler are maintained. A Gas Safe registered engineer will examine your boiler during a service to ensure it is working correctly and safely.
